Embrace your body through the art of paper-folding.

About Femigami

Femigami specialises in hosting playful and thought-provoking workshops using the art of paper-folding to create unconventional creations.

Femigami workshops provide a safe space to connect and take part in a mindful activity while having important discussions around our body and wellbeing.

The aim of Femigami is to break-down stigma and normalise these conversations so that we can feel more comfortable and confident in our everyday lives.

Workshops aim to promote the importance of intersectional feminism and weave connections across all genders and generations, while honouring the roots of this ancient art-form.

"Femigami workshops have the unique quality of being playful, while also getting to the heart of significant issues. Emily created such a strong sense of community and openness in a short space of time. Participants were able to have much needed conversations about sex, sexuality, gender and anatomy, that people normally shy away from. And on top of that, the origami outcomes were brilliant - really high quality, and very accessible."
