This workshop will be held across two libraries in Brighton & Hove on Saturday 7th October for Green Libraries Week:
Hove Library, Church Rd: 11am-12.30pm
Brighton, Jubilee Library: 2.30-4pm
This workshop is free and open to all ages (no need to book a place) but children will need to be accompanied by an adult please. Written origami instructions will be provided in Ukrainian and English during the workshop, which promotes hope, peace and connection within our community. And participants will be able to take their origami butterfly creations home with them and donate some to feature in an exhibition at Jubilee library.
Copies of 'The yellow butterfly: a story from Ukraine' by Oleksandr Shatokhin will be available to loan from the library; an emotional response to the war in Ukraine as seen through the eyes of a child, alongside books about sustainability and the natural world.
